Genesis Warmer Homes Campaign

With a little help from the loveable George, we brought Genesis’ heartfelt initiative to create more warm, healthy homes to the nation.


When it comes to staying toasty, Genesis knows the power of community support. The energy provider has partnered with curtain banks and housing charities to help insulate homes for families in need. To double down on the impact, Genesis is also matching public donations dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000. A simple set of curtains can slash power bills and make all the difference for families struggling with the costs of staying warm. 

The campaign features the now-iconic George and her lovable family, continuing to build an emotional connection with the Genesis brand. Through a heart-warming TVC and a nationwide media push, Kiwis are encouraged to chip in, creating a community-powered helping hand to get families in need through the coldest months. 

Bastion Shine brought this good cause to life through powerful, integrated storytelling. George's well-meaning antics drove brand warmth, while an Amplify-lead TVNZ partnership spotlighted the amazing mahi of Genesis' community partners. In addition to the hero AV, New Zealanders will see the Genesis campaign rolling out across social, digital, and retail OOH.
